The history of the Drogal Network began in 1935, when Cyro Lopes Cançado moved to Piracicaba, bringing with him the dream of starting a business in a sector already traditional in his family. His passion for the segment came from a long time ago: in the first half of the 19th century, his paternal grandfather, Major Lopes Cançado, had opened the Pharmacia do Povo in the Minas Gerais city of Pitangui.
