The website was founded in September 2013 and is the result of a personal project by two Polish friends: Lukasz Gieranczyk and Jarek Piasecki. The partners, already experienced in travel and e-commerce, observed the potential of the online bus ticket market during one of their trips to Brazil and decided to invest their own savings in the business. Quero Passagem started by serving 1,000 destinations across the country in partnership with 30 bus companies. Today, the company is the fastest growing in the online bus ticket sales sector.
